  • How many board members and staff can I enroll in the course?

    Your entire board is included in this enrollment, as well as whichever staff members you'd like to enroll.

  • What happens after I enroll in the course?

    The Nonprofit Help Center team will enroll your board for you. Simply email us with your list of board members and their email addresses.

  • How will my board members be notified that they are enrolled in the course?

    After enrolling, we'll provide you with a sample email you can use to alert your board members that they'll be enrolled in the course. Once we receive from you the list of board members and enroll them, they will also receive a confirmation message from our team with instructions on how to log in.

  • Can I see my board members' progress within the course?

    Yes! You'll receive instructions on how to access this data after your board has been on the platform for about 2 weeks. This allows us to look at real data from your team.

  • How can my organization earn the "Certified Effective Board" designation?

    The Nonprofit Help Center gives this designation to organizations in which the board has: -Completed the course in its entirety. -Reviewed the annual audit and 990 filing. -Has developed a matrix-model nominations process that seeks to balance a range of diverse skills, identities, and perspectives across the board as a whole. -Annually reviewed its own effectiveness. -Annually revisited its conflict of interest and whistleblower policies. -Participated actively and constructively in the selection, evaluation, and support of the chief executive. -Committed to creating a culture of learning.
